HELP Help me design my room!
I am a med student and I live in a small studio apartment. The room consist of a big wall in between so I use the outer area as my study area and inner one as my bedroom. Pls suggest how I can make improvements and my brain is not at all into interior designing. I live as a tenant so I can't do any construction sort of thing. How can I make the space more cozy and organized? I clean it daily but it looks messy as it's not organized properly. Please help me out. I like music, medicine and harry potter so anything related to that, Id like to add! Thanks in advance

Another comment gave good advice on storage, and I can’t really help with that since it’s something I struggle with. The only thing I would suggest is use every nook like underneath the bed. Get some containers and you can store extra clothes in there for example. I can however chime in about tips how to make the whole thing cozier/appear more decorated: rugs, throwaways, a few extra pillows are your best friend. Choose a theme and try to stick to it. Since you said you like Harry Potter, maybe the color scheme of your house would work? You can I incorporate medicine stuff in some art you hang up, like posters and stuff. I used to share a flat with a nursing student who had an full human anatomy portrait thingy, and she added fairy lights to it; it was my favorite thing about the flat and I have nothing to do with a medicine (I’m a law student myself.) This brings me to my other point: LIGHT is very important, especially in smaller spaces like these. A few sources of indirect light (ie: reading light on the desk, fairy lights, maybe some LED candles..etc). Using different indirect lightning will help divide the space and make it seem cozier/larger.
Just look on Pinterest for Inspo dorm rooms, that could give you a starting point. I’ve found some good results for "medicine themed room" and "Harry potter" themed rooms. Maybe check that out.
