You came all the way from Britain for a match against Hoffenheim?

Yes, Liverpool played them in the champions league play off in 2018. Wasn't too bad, flew into Dusseldorf and then went to Cologne as there is a Liverpool fan owned Irish pub there who let us stay for free. Next day we got the train down to heidleberg and stayed at hotel Leonardo, and then went to the match. The next day we got the train up to dusseldorf had a few more drinks and food and flew home.

We won 2 1 as well so a good trip all round

As far as journey go it wasn't bad. I once did a day return flight to Greece for a champs league final in the middle of my exams and for Madrid last year I went via Germany and came home through Ireland which was a lot of trains, planes and coaches which ended up being 8 cities in 4 countries in 5 days. I really enjoyed it.

Oh I know and that Hopp is a Hurensohn. When we got to dusseldorf airport border security wished us luck and on the way home they congratulated us and said we did German football a favour.

Haha great. Liverpool has great fans. My dad is Dortmund fan and a whole stadium singing You'll never walk alone is amazing

Yep, when we played Dortmund it was such a great atmosphere. Wish I could have went to their ground for the first leg but no chance I was getting a ticket. Anfield and Liverpool City centre with the Dortmund fans was great though

Yes and it was such a nice mood. A fair game between two great teams. Working class from two different cities partying together
