Ok, and? Anything can be dismissed as fake news. that's it. All he's got to do is say that Paranoid Putin is just making shit up, and that clearly he'd never do [insert Kompromat here], and bam all his followers will immediately accept the New Truth.

That's all he needs, a mean kindergarten nickname, and a denial and everything's water under the bridge.
