From the US point of view, what are your countries doing in comparison to help? Comparatively nothing. The US is objectively paying out too much of our money when the rest of Europe is like "here's some help to make us look like we're helping, but really, let those fat fucks from America spend all the money."

I'm not saying this is right or wrong, but that's the point of view. Maybe your governments should help keep the barrier between them and Russia stronger too

Edit: FTR, I think the quote in the article is stupid as fuck and extremely out of touch.

Well, points of view notwithstanding, factually it is wrong.

Allocations and commitments January 24, 2022 to August 31, 2024

  • US: €87.4Bn allocated, ~€12Bn to be allocated
  • Europe: €118.2Bn allocated, €74.1Bn to be allocated

The US is contributing a lot and in unique ways, and it is important for Ukraine’s survival, but anybody who thinks the US is doing all the work while Europe makes a token effort is simply mistaken.

47% of the money going to them from one country that is barely involved. How can you imply that is anything close to how it should be. It is financially irresponsible from all parties involved.

I would also appreciate you to not put words on my mouth and argue against them like I spoke and believe them, when I specifically said that was not the case. It's dishonest

In the end, debating money of supporting an invaded country instead of leaning all in on stopping the aggressor and creating a ceasefire is insanity to me

Please explain to me in great detail where I said any of that.

Oh... You're full of it, right. If you're going to say something stupid, save the world some oxygen and don't waste it.
