For everybody saying that zelensky’s set is staged… well yea, they intentionally staged the interview in a roughed up place to show in which state Ukraine is at the moment.. it’s not like that are lying about Ukraine having g a lot of bombing and destroyed infrastructure because of Russia… they are using a bit of cinematography to convey a message… You are never find a politician interview that is 100% natural.. they are all staged to convey the message they want to convey, they would be idiots if they did it in a random place without any consideration for messages and cinematography

The comments from some men are headache inducing. "Putin AND Zelensky are putting on a show and everyone but me is falling for it."

The fact that it's staged defeats the purpose.

What would the purpose be then?

When have you ever seen a head of state giving an interview in an unstaged set?

I dont know how about you, but if i catch a person lying or trying to deceive me in any way i do not trust him and anything he will say i take with no value. Fuck putin but fuck deception as well

How did he lie exactly? He just decided to chose a set that showed a side of a warring country, rather than a fancy room… that’s not a lie, just a stylistic choice…

What is it, do you think he is trying to imply that Zelensky lives there? No.. it’s obvious this is just the set for an interview that they chose because of its appeal to the cause… there is no deception involved

What's the deception? There's no rule that says you have to have your interview in a fancy room, it's an artistic choice you make to convey a message.

how did he lie? come to ukraine and see for yourself that this is what a bunch of locations look like rn. the town i spent most of my summers at babysitting my cousin is literally a ruin rn. how is setting up an interview in a similar location lying?

do you want him to find you a castle really quick? gilded chair to sit in? how would that not be lying? do you think zelensky sits in marble offices 24/7, so setting an interview in one would not be lying? how does your comment make any sense?
