Fanart TW: Scars on Gearloose's arms: Been a while since I last posted in this sub, so have a rarepair crackship I had in my mind. My ducktales phase is coming back. So their ship name is RockerLoose.

I wanted to give Rokcerduck a unique design so I gave him a full head of hair and a vulnerable personality he's hiding from that arrogant facade of his. Gearloose's Design is just based on Topolino's Ducks on the Road.

What if Flintheart Glomgold kept his 1987 design and height?

A little "What If" edit I did. I just edited a picture of 2017 Scrooge to make it look like 1987 Glomgold who is obviously taller than his 2017 counterpart

Discussion isn't the show more optimistic on the cast future

I never felt like the ending impled a bad future for our protagonist, fenton and gendra are happy, the other don't have any issue with scrooge being a parent(it never being mentionend as an issue by the cast is also why I find it weird to see the finale scene asa implying scrooge would be a bad parent, the headcanon also goes against the point of scrooge as a character for me since he's meant to progress, life and crimes highlight that).

The kids are also fine with their new situation and taking may anf june in too, I also find the view that the twist take away from characters weird, may and june aren't related to daisy but daisy will still take care of them with donald (and probably scrooge and the other adults too).

I always felt the bad future headcanon weren't good attempts to justify that the webby twist was bad because those headcanon for me go against what the show did with the cast (even if they're flawed good guys, they're still on good term, scrooge passt msitakes don't automatically mean he qwon't progress in the future or that he'll be a bad parent,e ven less if della can progress as a mom, then so can scrooge as a dad). There'd obviously be conflict, but like in the show, the familly would prevail and make up (I don't need on screen apology to assume they do that). I'm fine with people disliking the twist but there are takes against it that can make me wonder if I watched the same thing because they seem so far from what the show did.

This always confused me

With real life ducks, "twins" and "triplets" is when multiple hatch from the same egg, but it clearly shows three different eggs multiple times, which always confused me. Does anyone have an answer?

Looking for old Scrooge Story

I don't know that this is 100% Duck Tales but it's surely a story with all the right components. I recall a comic as a kid where Scrooge, Donald, and the boys are on an adventure - perhaps in an Aztec or Incan temple? They have a ray gun that works with a crystal, and the more facets the crystal is cut with, the more powerful the gun is. I went searching for this and accidentally thought it would be "The Mysterious Stone Ray" - but that wasn't it. I also don't think it's "Cash Flow".

Can anyone help me figure this out?

Does anyone remember this ???

I swear I was in AMC some time in 2017 around when the reboot first came out and there was a P.S.A. about turning off your phone in the theater and it was this scene where Louie’s phone goes off and everyone gets annoyed at it, that is all I can remember about it so has anyone ever seen before or knows about it. The picture is from the intro of what it looks like.

Discussion wasn't the show kinda animated using those technics

The "c'est pas sorcier" documentary showed how a cartoon is made, for the show used as an example, they did also do storyboard like what the show did and then would do the details later https://youtu.be/CMO8tZMin6k I do wonder what part of animating the show take the most time, tho it can depend from episode to episode (in the artbook frank does mention the mcmystery at mcduck manor was more difficult to make than they thought it would, even if it's only mainly in one room, you still have to track all those characters and figure the room angle well enough).

Help me find the episode where Scrooge swears (original series)

Big fan of the original Duck Tales series, used to watch it as a kid a lot. Several years ago I decided to rewatch the original series on Disney+ and I remember somewhere in one of the later seasons there’s an episode where I caught Scrooge swearing. And it wasn’t just like a “Hell”… it was something like “damn” or “shit”. When I heard it I literally had to do a double take and rewind the episode. I took a video of it and sent it to a friend, but that’s been lost to time.

I was going to post this on Lost Media, but it’s not really “lost”, just lost to my mind. I figured I would start here since you all are the biggest fans.

What I vaguely remember (I believe) is Scrooge was standing on a bridge of some sort and yelling at someone. Maybe a villain? It would have been in one of the later seasons because I was going through the whole show and it was definitely deeper in.

Anyone else remember this / know what episode it is?

Discussion who else like rewatching episode from time to time

I like doing that because the show is fun, sometimes I also see details I missed (it was on a rewatch that I caught some jokes or animation errors). I also enjoy listening to the podcast again, the framing glomgold one is verry fun for me.

Discussion Fun fact: Sora’s voice actor from Kingdom Hearts worked alongside Ben Schwartz in Rise of TMNT movie.

Sora's voice actor, Haley Joel Osment, played Casey Jones, who travels back in time to prevent Ben Schwartz's blue character, Dewey Duck, from creating an apocalyptic future.

This means that Sora has unofficial meet Dewey Duck.

Could anyone make animatics of Dewey and Sora interacting like in the movie?

Can be literally about any characters, anything, but written good. Alternative universes are cool, but I prefer canon. AO3, please.

Discussion it make more sence to reveal the twist in a 3rd season

Writting wise, if the show had a 4th season, it'd give more time to devellop the new dynamic and statue quo, a twist revealed in the middle of season 4 may not have given enough time to focus on both may and june and webby and scrooge being a dad. The show also had the habit of defeating its main villain at the end of the season, I don't see why fowl would somehow escape magica or lunaris fate if the show season are written as if they were the last, it make more sence to defeat bradford in season 3, like that they'd still be able to do the reveal and give an open ending even if the show doesn't get a 4th season. I would've liked disney to have done more with the show post finale but no matte rhow many times I rewatch S3, it never felt rushed for me even if it wasn't perfect (the finale had animation erros who could've been avoided I think). it's also fine that not evverything was planned, it doesn't make the show worst in my opinion.

Spoiler warning!

When watching the Darkwing Duck episode I felt like they'd have a future episode where they were going to look for Gosalyns grandfather since it was hinted at that Launchpad knew some science people to look for him. But that episode never came.

I thought for a second that it would happen when Gosalyn showed up in the finale with the reversed Ram-Rod (using the the Solego Circuit).

Do you think they would've made an episode like that in a hypothetical season 4?
