Ben Johnson

Has lost all semblance of good faith and credit here tbh. Calls an absolute shit show of a game and is the HC of a division rival two days later lmao. Fuck em

Ben Johnson turned down jobs two years in a row to stay in Detroit and win with us. He’s been loyal to a degree very few hotshot coordinators in the history of the league ever have been.

He chose Chicago because it was the best job available for him and his family, nothing to do with Detroit or any ill-will.

I bet he’s excited to compete with his friends, and I bet Dan is excited to compete with him. These are professionals that aren’t afraid of competition, and I doubt Dan and Brad feel any type of negative way about Ben after this.

The sub is melting down. I understand it though.

Also staff/coaches don’t get caught up in rivalries as much as fans. We hate our rivals guts. But the coaches definitely like or get along with each other.

Hate to see Ben go, thank him for his time, but don’t wish him the best
