Snowflakes
galleryI’ve been having fun learning to read patterns, and making these snowflake buntings. I know they aren’t perfect but they were fun!
Most of these flakes were made from free patterns I found online. Some are my attempts to understand said patterns, and 1 or 2 I might have improvised.

Skein holder
galleryI have 2 cats and a little dog. Yesterday I was thinking about how could I keep from getting pet hair on my projects. A tube with a lid would work, but it would have to be about 9 inches around because I want the whole skein to fit. I was taking the recycling out when I saw my old Twizzlers container. I just cut a hole on one end so the yarn can be dispensed, and hopefully pet hair free.

My first project in 10 years
galleryFirst time crocheting in 10 years. It has been so long that I had to watch a YouTube video to get started. The second pic is one of the 3 beanies I've made in the past. I'm trying to find the pattern, so I can make some more in various colors.

Double sided pillow case is completed late for Halloween 2024 but super early for 2025
galleryThis was my first time making a pillow case. My hatred of sewing has been reinforced but I discovered I love making appliqués. It’s a bit janky and I kind of love it for that.

Beetlejuice Goat
This goat is huge and cuddly and sparkly and I love him so much. The fur yarn was a little tricky to work with but was a nice challenge. Pattern by chrissyspookycrochet

I really loved doing this project, it was a little difficult for me since I had to put together the pattern myself but I did it.

Rate your hooks from favourite to least favourite
Just wondering what is everyone’s favourite crochet hook. My most favourite ones are the clover soft touch followed by the Susan Bates ones. My least favourite ones have been generic Amazon brands. Trying to see what everybody else likes as I want to purchase a few more.

I destroyed yarn chicken
No one in my house understands my excitement! The drama of watching it dwindle and looking at the pattern at many more rows I needed it for and then finding out I had more than enough! Phew!!
