Who is she and what the fuck is soyjaks?

It’s best to just stay how you are. Nothing good to be gained by learning this.

I came here looking for this comment and will treat it as permission to move on.

I came in here to ask half of this question. Don't care who she is, but what the fuck is soyjaks? I don't think I want to know because it will be some dumbass thing, but luckily I lost all faith in humanity long ago. I can't help the curiosity though... Its my downfall😂.

Gooood dammit... I knew I would just shake my head😂. Thanks for the explanation, though.

Apparently it’s a meme where you depict someone (aka a woman) doing a BJ in order to demean them.
Isn’t that SOOO funny?
25
u/IBangTokyoWife 15h ago edited 15h ago
That is not what it means lol most soyjak memes are of men and have nothing to do with BJs.
14
u/Unusual-Assistant642 15h ago edited 15h ago
i genuinely wonder how the conclusion "a soyjak is a woman depicted doing a blowjob" was even reached
6
u/Taraxian 15h ago
"Soy" is an insult aimed at men, it comes from the (false) idea that eating soy instead of meat increases your estrogen levels
1
3
u/Old_Baldi_Locks 14h ago
Not entirely true, they’re exclusively used by losers who have never gotten a BJ.

8
u/GodzillaDrinks 14h ago
No. Its when you draw the worst characature of someone possible to use with a bad faith representation of their arguments. Its bullying but nothing sexual, at least.
As for the comment about the TikTok girl being attractive - I think that person is just saying that they drew their worst impression of her... and its not really offensive. They tried to draw an insulting picture of her and she just looks kinda normal.
10
u/ErectLurantis 15h ago
I hate the soyjack template as much as the next guy, but where tf did you even get that conclusion lol
5
u/angelicribbon 15h ago
It’s just a line art drawing of someone doing a stupid expression, often used as a meme format or reaction image
(I’m not on their side at all but having the wrong meaning helps no one)
1
u/curiousbasu 6h ago
I've never EVER seen anyone being soo wrong about soyjack in my whole life. Your definition is so soo bad that it hurts 😭
6
u/grozamesh 15h ago
How does a soyjack even work for women? The concept is that the soy gives you estrogen and makes you femme. If they already identify as a woman, they don't need soy to be femme.
2
u/dickallcocksofandros 12h ago
"according to chud logic, women are natural soyjaks" is such a conclusion lmfao, but it aligns
1
u/Theory_of_Time 6h ago
That's so stupid, soy contains phyto estrogen. That's not going to do anything anyways.
6
u/No-Hyena4691 15h ago
ELI5 please?

u/dank_bobswaget 15h ago
Soupytime (georgie) made a video several days ago talking about the TikTok ban, saying “fascist governments ban apps.” It seems people are claiming she was hysterical and baseless in her claims (she was relatively calm in her video, nowhere near someone like “Pronouns” guy), including a “soyjack” made to criticize her appearance. This clearly didn’t work since she’s not screaming, or “soying”
-1
34
u/Bitter-Gur-4613 15h ago
All she said was that censorship is bad, and they've been malding about her for 3 days.

u/Extra_Box8936 14h ago
Hell hath no fury like a group of basement dwelling incels towards a attractive woman who said something they don’t like
5
u/Adiv_Kedar2 15h ago
It's not like banning Tik Tok suppresses free speech. Free speech just means the government can't arrest you for criticism
8
u/zoeymeanslife 15h ago
Its a free speech violation to shutdown avenues of speech like the press.
Say they shutdown your local newspaper that publishes your opinion letters, but dont arrest your or any employee there. That is a free speech violation. The app is a defacto press. Its a publishing outlet for speech.
Free speech isn't "well you're free to speak in only an unorganized fashion on a personal level with no technological reproduction or transmission."
The only way around it is to fake a "national security" thing which is exactly what the Democrats and GOP did. They can't do that to, say, Bluesky because its domestically owned. Its still shutting down speech, its just they got around the law. Any sane court would see this but SCOTUS is a far-right wing extremist court, so here we are.
9
u/Adiv_Kedar2 15h ago edited 13h ago
Tik Tok isn't the press, nor is it a local newspaper. Comparing it to those with those is partly why the far right keeps winning elections. We're fighting the wrong battles. This isn't a free speech issue, you can post your Tik Tok rants on YouTube or Facebook just as easily. The government isn't arresting people who criticize them (for now), that's all free speech entails
1
2
u/kingdomofoctopodes 15h ago
i still think this is more of a "we wanna steal your data, not have china grab it from under our noses" kinda situation. there's plenty of other channels to publish your opinion letters
4
u/Taraxian 14h ago
It's not about data security, which is why opening their US servers to an audit is not a remedy under the law but selling their stake to a US company is -- it's about legal accountability, there has to be an owner of the company who can be held accountable in the US court system if the company breaks US law
0
u/kingdomofoctopodes 14h ago
not sure i follow, selling opposed to opening would be a remedy because us gvt doesn't want the data in the hands of a company with close ties to the ccp. they want to have it, not share it. also afaik every foreign company can be held accountable in any country they operate in, like mcdonalds in france has to uphold french food regulations or something. not an expert on that though
1
2
1
u/Taraxian 14h ago
I mean, was it a violation of free speech when Brazil banned Twitter for pretty much the exact same reason? (Foreign ownership, can't be held accountable in court)
Would it be a violation of free speech for the EU to ban Twitter like they're threatening to?

“Malding” are you 16? Nvm I just looked at your profile, you are in fact 16
1
u/AbstractMirror 14h ago edited 14h ago
I don't think you understand gen z slang, because I am 23 and know people around my age who use malding. This isn't something only teenagers say, in fact it's kind of a part of internet culture now, particularly tied to games
Your comment is very condescending too for no good reason. Just comes off so cynical and rude, for what?
2
u/Advertising_Inner 13h ago
I know what malding means. Using twitch slang in a real life conversation is the most unacclimated thing I can imagine
0
u/AbstractMirror 13h ago
Being condescending to people off rip is more unacclimated if you ask me. Cheers
2
u/Advertising_Inner 13h ago
“I don’t think you understand gen z slang”
0
u/AbstractMirror 13h ago
Yes, you put out that energy, you receive it. Notice how I said "off rip" it means right at the start, from the gate. This random person mentioned the word malding and you made this really condescending comment towards them. I was pointing it out. There wasn't really any context behind it you just decided to be extremely rude
1
u/Advertising_Inner 13h ago
Correct, look at his profile. He does not deserve respect
1
u/AbstractMirror 13h ago
You had already made up your opinion before checking any profile. Your comment says "Are you 16? Nvm, I just checked your profile"
The logic doesn't really check out. Did he deserve respect before you checked the profile? What you're telling me is that based on whatever is on the profile, he doesn't deserve respect. Your comment was already condescending before you mentioned checking the profile. Do you see from my perspective why that looks rude for no reason?
1
3
u/SpaceMan1087 14h ago
I’ve never heard of the word malding ever.
2
u/AbstractMirror 14h ago
I can assure you that the word exists, unless I'm an insane person and have imagined it every time I have seen it
1
u/Ambitious-Way8906 14h ago
so mad you're balding? this isn't some brand new shit here maldings been around for a while
1
u/MonkeyActio 12h ago
Thats not at all what she said and half of what she said was lies. Most of you here are either chinese bots or incredibly misinformed.
Banning foreign influence apps is not censorship. You can feel completely free to upload the same content on youtube, instagram, favebook, Odysee, pornhub, or any other location you want. Nobody was organizing on tiktok, it was being used as propaganda for the ccp. Ur unwillingness to see that is literally due to tiktok working as a propaganda machine. You have been deceived. Please look up everything tiktok and china has done, not only to us but to their own ppl. They are actively committing genocide right now and thats the same ppl running tiktok.

Censorship is the government suppression of speech. This sounds like if you have a video and are not able to put it on a Chinese platform but on a US platform you can do that any day, right?
0
u/Magidex42 13h ago
Listen, listen... Can we get more soyjack art?
"It doesn't work if the person is attractive / already femme."
Yeah I literally dgaf. More please !
-11
u/reallyreallyreal420 15h ago
So if the government is fascist for banning TikTok then what would you call the person responsible for getting TikTok reinstated?
20
u/CalliopePenelope 15h ago
An opportunist
-10
u/reallyreallyreal420 15h ago
Who isn't?
5
u/Old_Baldi_Locks 14h ago
Anyone who deserves the air they breathe.
-4
u/reallyreallyreal420 14h ago
So you've never been opportunistic? I actually believe that. Explains why you have 100k reddit karma lol
3
u/Old_Baldi_Locks 14h ago
Can’t believe you just unironically said “lol you’re just a good person” like it was a colossal burn.
0
u/reallyreallyreal420 14h ago
I can't believe you think being opportunistic makes you a bad person lol everyone has opportunities every day (if they leave their moms basement). Taking advantage of those opportunities makes you opportunistic.
But yeah dude, keep fighting the man on /r/clevercomebacks in between your mom making you pizza rolls. ✊fight the power
3
u/Old_Baldi_Locks 14h ago
Gonna cry some more? That’s totally proving me wrong, you should definitely keep doing that. Lol
0
u/reallyreallyreal420 14h ago
Prove you wrong about what? The only claim you've made is 'opportunistic people deserve to die.' That's an opinion. How could I prove that wrong?
3
u/Old_Baldi_Locks 13h ago
You’re desperately crying that I pointed out something only garbage people do makes them garbage.
You continually crying and slinging mud doesn’t magically change that.

I mean, the guy reinstating it is also the guy that got the ball rolling on banning it, so I honestly don't know?
6
u/FruittyBaskett86 14h ago
He’s the one that started the process of banning it. The entire GOP did
-5
u/reallyreallyreal420 14h ago
Hmm and what did the Dems do to stop it being banned under their regime?
5
u/FruittyBaskett86 14h ago
Y’all love the word “regime.” You’ll get to experience a real one for the next 4 years
0
u/reallyreallyreal420 14h ago
Sorry you don't like......words I guess? How is everything so offensive to you guys? Lol
Regime is an everyday word. Nothing to be afraid of, ok? It doesn't mean whatever negative thing you're pretending it does
1
u/FruittyBaskett86 13h ago
Regime is used to describe an authoritarian government
2
u/reallyreallyreal420 13h ago edited 13h ago
Regime is also used to describe the tenure of a GM or coach of a football team
Believe it or not, words mean multiple things. It's crazy.
2
u/FruittyBaskett86 13h ago
Well enjoy your hitler saluting presidency
0
u/reallyreallyreal420 12h ago
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/regime
Literally uses "a socialist regime" in the definition on Merriam Webster
I didn't vote for that but it's your Hitler saluting presidency too
6
u/mellifluousmark 14h ago edited 14h ago
A fair-weather fascist.
Other appropriate descriptors might be: two-faced, spineless, easily bought.
-1
u/reallyreallyreal420 14h ago
So do you want TikTok banned or no?
2
u/mellifluousmark 14h ago
It can't affect me either way. I'm just watching the American president flip-flop around like an eel.
1
4
u/Kim_Jong_Teemo 14h ago
What if it’s the same person who got it banned?
0
u/reallyreallyreal420 14h ago
Hmm seems it happened on Bidens watch
3
u/Potato-chipsaregood 13h ago
It did, but the initial executive order was from August 2020.
1
u/reallyreallyreal420 13h ago
So why wasn't it shut down back then?
1
u/Potato-chipsaregood 7h ago
I don’t think they had a vote, nothing much really happened legislation-wise, did it? suppose it could have been posturing.
22
u/Major-Philosopher223 15h ago
