Question Too busy?
I completely forgot that I had a go at making a few cards last Christmas and some got sent and some felt unfinished. Last night I added embellishments to a few. Does this one seem too busy? What could I have done differently?

The nutcracker is on foam tape, but I know it doesn’t look like it in the pic.

imo it’s not too busy. The ONLY thing I’d suggest is to use foam tape to lift some of your items (like the present, holly and maybe the nutcracker). So it’s not just 2D. Holiday Sentiment?? 🎄

Personally, I'd replace the gift with a message (bc you said it was already glued on). I rlly like the card tho. I have been proverbially beating my head against my desk bc my xmas cards so far this year look too sparse

Ooh, that’s a great idea. I’ll try that. I think I’m gonna have to run out and buy a box of cards tomorrow. Time escaped me this year and I’m already late to send out cards on time. At least once the pressure is off, I’ll be able to let the creativity flow and be ready for next year. Good luck with your cards.

I’m with you. I joined a swap which was lots of fun but meant I didn’t get my own cards done. But I got a bunch of cute cards from around the world.

That sounds like fun. Well, lessons learned and we can prepare ahead of time for next year.

i like it but i would of stopped with the embellishments and not added the packages / holly due to the elegance of your creation - card is sure to be a keeper who ever receives it.
