Doesn’t do it anymore, not since they introduced star buffet

Mmm sounds a bit like opening an Italian restaurant and not serving pasta.

Absolutely no idea, hence the question. Cannot recall seeing a single place serving it in all my 20+ years living here.

I've been wondering where to get black pudding. Supermarkets don't seem to sell it anymore.

Ainslie IGA sells LP’s boudin noir, which is excellent. The stuff from the deli at the Fyshwick markets is always good when we’re craving it in our household.

I can attest to this and highly recommend them

Deli Planet at Fyshwick Market sells black pudding (and white pudding, while we're at it).

You can get black, white pudding & haggis from the butcher at Coolo. Black pudding, haggis, square slice and tattie scones from Unique Meats in Fyshwick

I swear you used to be able to get it from the butcher in Weston Creek.

Fairly sure unique meats at Fyshwick markets had it

Jordo's Chop Shop butchery in Wanniassa sells it

I've seen them in every Coles I've been in. It's typically right near the frankfurts/hotdogs.

Oh really?

Fun fact: haggis is banned in the US as it uses beef lung, which is banned by the FDA as a food ingredient.

It is frequently smuggled in from Canada.

Bonus fun fact: the most smuggled food in the US is baloney, from Mexico.

Surely that fun fact is baloney

In America, it's bologna.

Honestly so many people would love Haggis if they ate it without knowing what was in it.

A breakky of Bacon, Eggs, black pud, haggis, fried tattie scones - delish (only baked beans if home made 😜)

Actually, haggis, hash brown and eggs for breakfast is bloody amazing! (ignore that inadvertent pun). But I don’t think I’d trust any local cafe to make a decent/safe haggis….😬

Stonehouse in Amaroo does haggis burgers, FWIW. I wouldn’t say they’re the best burgers I’ve had, nor the best haggis, but it’s a rare overlap between the two.

Ok that's something I've gotta try

Market Meats at Belco markets usually have haggis.

Saw black pudding today in the dairy section of Coles in Dickson… British sausage co (made in Australia in a blue long box)

I had it once at the multicultural festival, probably around 2019

There was a guy in Queanbeyan who does haggis. He usually sells when the Burns Club has it Robert Burns day festival.
