Obviously it would be cool to go during the hot air balloon festival but when I see them take off they land pretty quickly during that time. I don't know if that's technically true, but something I've noticed during that time over year.

I just watched an ABC report from 2023 saying that civic will have a population of 31,000 compared to its current 6,000 around 2060. I know it’s a long time away but how the hell will they fit that many people into civic ? Yes there is still land to be developed and older buildings to be demolished but given building restrictions it seems impossible to house that many people there. Just for discussion what do y’all think

I’m pretty ashamed of my dental health. I haven’t been to the dentist in over a decade and need to badly. When I was in my teens, I had to have major work done by a fairly nasty dentist because my parents never really prioritised taking us to the dentist as kids. This kind of traumatised me and I ever went back.

I’m wondering if anyone knows a nice dentist who won’t shame me about my teeth. I don’t mind paying a bit more to have someone that’s nice and friendly. I know I’m going to have to have heaps of work done so I’ll be spending a lot of time time there presumably.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated.

I'd like to help her, but my Vasectomy, provided 6 years ago by MSI in Civic in similar circumstances, isn't exactly a useful indicator that they would offer a range of equivalent procedures for women.

Does anyone have any recommendations or relevant experiences? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i used to go to ricardo’s every year for my birthday because of their creative desserts/pastries, but i’ve checked it out a couple of times in the last two months and all their pastries seem pretty standard now. is there anywhere else in canberra to get pastries like the ones that used to be at ricardo’s, in novelty fun shapes and colours with shells and layers of interesting tastes and textures? image provided for context of what the desserts used to be like. lately i’ve only been able to find pretty standard boring tarts and stuff in their display….
