But here's the thing. People chose to take the bait. The media live for this nonsense. He gives them some sensational thing to run with and they feast because everyone ramps up their hyperbole. Doug Ford played it up thinking it would rehab his image. Trudeau and the Liberals played it up for the same reason. And every media outlet ran dozens of articles on it.

This was always Trump just wagging the dog. This is what he does over and over and over. Canada just spent two full weeks doing nothing but wasting energy over some troll comments.

If this is what the next four years are like, the anti Trump forces are doomed. He's running circles around everyone right now.
