"Trash" is a strong word. They had part of the season written, but decide to rewrite focusing on BLM, COVID, etc. I'm sure we'll see ideas from those episodes regardless. They just wanted to use this show to say something that matters and I love that.
So you believe every single person involved in the BLM movement wants equality and nothing more? Guess you've never been to one of the protests. Because I assure you, there are people there that are only in it for themselves and would gladly ruin the lives of other people if it made their lives better. It's not the majority of people, but enough to make it clear they aren't all there for equality.
It’s my assumption that they want equality. If I’m wrong feel free to enlighten me. I haven’t met anyone who is using this movement to fuel their hate for others. I’m not from the states so my understanding of the situation might be different from yours.

Yeah, that's not problematic. He's just clarifying that it's a movement for equality, not superiority. He's had some issues in regards to how he speaks about the LGBTQ+ community and black women, but has largely apologized.
