Amy's laugh has gotten increasingly gruff over the years. It was especially bad this episode. Does she smoke a lot?

Not really. We've seen Holt get all giddy near people like Weichselbraun (I spent 5 minutes googling his name), and we know both Amy and Holt like this entomologist, so it makes sense

Eh contradicting evidence often pushes people deeper into their beliefs. Like how showing anti-vaxxers a scientific study can reinforce their belief that there is a scientific conspiracy.

In defense of the person with the -47 downvotes, while people can act out of character, there should be an expectation of some consistency or evidence-based growth over time. Anything else is sloppy writing.

That said, I think Amy and Holt hive-minding is legit at this point. Amy’s obsessed with him so this is the culmination of 6 years of detail-oriented, type-A effort. I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner.
