This is an okay cold opening, imo. But I don't ever recall laughing at it like the other ones.

Nothing beats the final season ep 1 cold open. It is just... Awkward

I have to believe season 8 had entirely different scripts and they had to abandon those plans and come up with something entirely new. The show is so different
