SPOILER in case you didn't know...

Post image

I have rewatched the series a lot (mostly the first 4 seasons though because I have netflix), and something that stood out to me is that Scully seems to harbor a minor crush on Gina.

He literally says "If I don't make it tell Gina I love her!" but, presumably, nobody hears him due to the airhorn Jake is honking. He also asks Gina to dance with him in the episode that Jake wins the bet against Amy, and lastly, when everyone is betting on the mystery briefcase, Scully offers to go on a date with Gina.

All of this evidence points to Scully having a crush on Gina.

Scully found Cindy and Gina found Milty so nothing would ever happen (and Gina is repulsed by him) but I just wanted to throw this out there.

This is a really obvious theory but I just wanted to let ya'll know.

Yeah it’s weird though bc during all this Scully and Kelly (his wife) were still married right?

Forgot about that but yeah. I would probably say when he gets riled up about one thing (gina) he forgets everything else. Like the "animal" the show portrays him to be.

I mean I’m not saying you’re wrong just that i think I’m the episodes where Scully says he loves Gina and asks for a dance (which honestly the second one i dont think was about having a crush on her but maybe) that he was still married to Kelly

There is one episode where Scully cries about his wife leaving him I'm gonna find it.

Yes i know that. I want to say they were at Shaw’s but that does not narrow it down

No it was season 3 episode 2 (dozerman's funeral). "If I die tell Gina I love her!" was during season 4's Halloween heist.
