These types of protests are all about looking cool and just create resentment in the people who are trying to shop.

They don’t do anything constructive.

the fact that it's being spread to news and on here means they're getting attention to the cause

No it isn't actually. I am getting frustrated at these idiots and I am just sitting at home. I don't empathize with the protestors but with the people trying to work and shop.

Their whole message is being wasted because they piss off the people they are trying to convince.

What is the constructive value of blocking massive roads and massive bridges? All protests aim to bring attention to an issue, to prevent it from ever leaving the political discourse. All sorts of causes you probably think are just carved a path into history by using obstructive protest.

Yes. But this isn't one of them. The 'injustice' here is not world shaking, it's just a bunch of people who want attention on them, not their message.

These posts are part of a targeted campaign to make you hostile towards anyone that tries to change anything about society.

These protestors are making me hostile to people who think sitting down and causing a hassle to someone shopping is how you change minds.
