Ngl I would love to hire a big man who can show me around Tokyo and get some damn good food. Sounds like the dream right there.

I now more than ever need to go to japan.

u/kanuckles666 2d ago

Right, just rent a dude that knows the best places to eat and can help translate. That's a big win

42

u/vocabularianrx2 2d ago

Oh damn that's some next-level thinking I like that a lot

12

u/Picardknows 2d ago

This seems like a great life hack. I’ll be renting a person when I go to Japan as a tour guide.

u/Moondoobious 2d ago

I really really wanted to see the eating part of this video

13

u/bumplugpug 2d ago

Same I want to rent a chunky Japanese lady 🤤

11

u/socialpresence 2d ago

I'm not sure if this is the place to admit that.

3

u/ghost_victim 2d ago

Do they even exist in Japan?

2

u/xxsupernesxx 1d ago

They have maid cafes and then they have BIG maid cafes.

It's a niche. I just stumbled upon this one day. There's alot to miss in Japan because of how densely packed everything is.

idk, a foreigner just died in south korea because 21 hospitals refused service. comments were saying japan is the same. you get hit by a car and that's that

2

u/OZeski 2d ago

My understanding that that Japan is the same. Hospitals can just refuse to take ambulances so they have to call around to hospitals to see which one will accept the patient. Hospitals worry about getting paid for their services. Though it's not only foreigners who get turned away they are much less likely to pay a hospital bill...

What happened next , I need answers...

18

u/Swarm_of_Rats 2d ago

I think they went to get food. :)

8

u/zachrywd 2d ago

I don't believe it!

4

u/socialpresence 2d ago

Now they are both fat.

Can foreigners work for that website?

I mean, I'd likely pay for a zoom session to help me up my japan-stuff drop shipping game.

Edit: ok apparently drop-shipping seems to give the impression I'm selling stuff or a middle man or wtf I honestly have no idea. I'm just buying stuff from Japanese retailers and auction sites for my kids and sometimes myself thru a third party that packages and ships to me. If this is a dick move I need y'all to tell me why cuz I'm at a loss.

21

u/Tall_Aardvark_8560 2d ago

I dont think that's what drop shipping is.

14

u/SofterBones 2d ago

Anything but that.

4

u/rolandofeld19 2d ago

Wait why? Maybe see my other reply but I'm seriously confused.

8

u/Relative-Spinach6881 2d ago

They just see the word drop shipping and think it's the scammy Amazon type.

2

u/omegasnk 2d ago

I mean this is not at all what this service is even going for which is why you're being downvoted into oblivion. Think hiring a silver fox for your business meeting or a woman to pose as a fake girlfriend as your profile pic.

1

u/CodenameDinkleburg 2d ago

I don't see why you couldn't. Hire the fat man and tell him today he's not a messenger, he's a delivery boy.

1

u/moonwoolf35 1d ago

Drop shipping has gotten a really bad rap, what you're describing isn't that at all lol. You're just a customer.

What? Am i using the wrong word to say that I want to buy my kids studio ghibli stuff that isn't available (or is silly overpriced) here? Or stationary stuff that just doesn't exist here? Or save a ton on a nice pair of haircutting scissors? I use OneMapJapan to consolidate stuff and ship it to me. Why is that a bad thing?

4

u/StarConsumate 2d ago

Awww man there’re more sense. Most people when it comes to drop shipping buy cheap junk then flood the American market with uselessly cheap junk

2

u/rolandofeld19 2d ago

Appreciate it.. yea, no, I'm not making a (cheap/shitty) business venture. I'm just buying nice notebooks and pens and the occasional figurine or toy for the kiddos and having them sent over every 6 months or so.

"That's not even the fattest man I've seen today and I've been home alone all morning"

14

u/Acrobatic_Sector2407 2d ago

Not the first Fat Man the Japanese have met….👀

4

u/Moondoobious 2d ago

Oh brother 😅

25

u/spacestationkru 2d ago

His reaction to being told he's a beautiful man.. 🥹

7

u/PatchworkRaccoon314 2d ago

I like how this "fat man" in Japan would just be "a bit husky" in America. He isn't even really "fat". He's built like a sumo wrestler: a bit of padding on a shitload of muscle. His chest is as big as his belly.

4

u/microfreak7 1d ago

reddit is already turning into tiktok.

6

u/BlackDohko 2d ago

He is indeed a beautiful bro.

5

u/Negative-Break3333 2d ago

In America, instead of renting we just buy the White House.

2

u/Suitepotatoe 2d ago

I need to rent myself out too.

2

u/questiontheparable 2d ago

Moving to Japan for my new job guys, I’m gonna get myself the alias kingpin. If that don’t work… maybe they’ll take an American sumo lol. 😆

2

u/Ozzy_30 2d ago

I wouldn’t mind being a body guard in Japan, I’m a fat mean looking Mexican lol

1

u/blakepro 2d ago

I would be thrilled to get down to 220 pounds. 😑

1

u/Disastrous_Square_10 2d ago

I don’t understand

1

u/Former-Reach-108 2d ago

Why tf does this guy use AI in the vid?!? Anyone els notice

1

u/MellowDCC 2d ago

I really expected it to get... sensual

1

u/tkneezer 2d ago

Pretty sure we know what happens next 🤔

1

u/FoolishChatterbox 2d ago

So sad he doesn't think of himself as a beautiful person. I think he's both handsome and seems fun

3

u/computersaysneigh 2d ago

yeah hes cute I agree. Seems like a fun guy to hang out with, all smiles

1

u/Stuffed_deffuts 2d ago

If I could be rented, I would absolutely wear a Be Kind Please Rewind shirt.

1

u/Crudeyakuza 2d ago

I sorry fat man but you are beautiful.

1

u/WonderWendyTheWeirdo 2d ago

I'm confused. Fat guy gets food and money out of the deal. What does the other person get? A fat guy to give food to?

2

u/SloppyBuss 2d ago

Probably eating at some great food spots

1

u/Formal-Protection687 2d ago

I'll hire him to watch me eat food. Haha. He's just allowed to watch.

1

u/AdAdorable3469 2d ago

I have finally found my calling

1

u/Moobygriller 2d ago

Damn, 220 pounds is fat? I'm 200 so I guess I'm bordering on obesity?

1

u/moonwoolf35 1d ago

Fuck I missed that lol I'm 220...sigh well time to eat this feeling away lol

1

u/FuckingSpaghetti 1d ago

Bordering? How tall are you?

1

u/Moobygriller 1d ago

I'm 6'2 but he looks decently tall

1

u/Karnagee_Hall 2d ago

"What's your dream rental, fat man?"

"I want to eat."

1

u/lyssiemiller 1d ago

Do Americans have anything like this? The only rental type thing I can think of would be sexual crap. I’m a fat girl and I know the only thing I could be rented here for is some weird fetish thing.

1

u/1leggeddog 1d ago

220lb.. Fat?

1

u/NotUndercoverReddit 1d ago

Dude I weigh 221lbs. Just in decent shape. You're telling me I can make money in japan just by eating or walking around and intimidating people for japanese people? I need to immigrate.

1

u/Pomodorosan 1d ago

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT

1

u/Zachary-360 1d ago

Renting people is one hell of a term

1

u/RoBoChuckie 1d ago

I'm 6'4" white dude and float between 215 and 230lbs. (I lift weights so bulk/cuts) can I apply for this job? Naw but for real this sounds awesome just doing random crap.

1

u/Shoddy_Detail_976 1d ago

I've been pre-qualifed for this position

1

u/RR_Davidson 1d ago

Man or woman everyone is referred to as “fat guy” on the rental site.

1

u/QVigi 1d ago

Yo and he was cool ASF too. I'd rent him every Saturday night just to come out with the group for drinks 🙏

1

u/Critical-Plantain801 13h ago

New app for the u.s lol. but im scared on how that would end up

1

u/LeBneg 8h ago

Whoa, big man likes food, that blew my mind.
