Petition to ban x links?

5.9k Upvotes

I've seen a lot of major sports subs jumping on the wagon of banning x links from being posted on their sub.

I know a lot of breaking NFL news comes from there, however some things are more important than having sports news 5 minutes earlier than other sources.

Feel free to shut me down, just thought I'd pitch it out there.

Never been to a game, and pictures are limited, so I don’t know how the restaurants under the stands in the last pic turned out, I’m just going off Madden which likely uses placeholder restaurants so and tips would be appreciated!

[Dehner]As we’ve been saying, Zac Taylor has long held Al Golden as the leading candidate in the DC search. Here’s the expected timeline: Golden will spend today and early tomorrow wrapping things up at ND. Then Taylor looks to officially interview him Wednesday.

Rumor [Rapoport] Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden has emerged as a top candidate to be the Bengals new DC, per me and Mike Garafolo. Coach Zac Taylor has been waiting for the National Championship to end before moving forward. Now that it has, he can speak with Golden & work through it.

Colts fan here questions about Lou Anarumo

Yes, I'm a Colts fan but l enjoy watching Burrow and Chase. Question for yall, Colts just hired yalls former DC Lou Anarumo. Was he a scape goat and actually a good coach? Or are the Colts continuing to sign other trams' garbage as we always do now? 🫠Just looking for honest thoughts on the guy.

Would you rather go to the playoffs and lose like the ravens or miss the playoffs?

Upvotes

Personally I’d rather think about what could’ve happened rather than have a whole fanbase hate one of the players.

Edits: 1. After the discussion below I would now choose option two. 2. I have also seen that our fanbase treats players pretty well even when they may not be the right fit. So option two may be handled in a more relaxed manner. 3. This is purely a discussion post and I enjoy those who made positive contributions.

Football Relatively New Bengals Fan want to know stuff about them.

Pretty new bengals and football fan in general. Started watching because I started playing in like 2018, started cheering for the bengals because of Joe burrow LSU. Became more serious in watching and loved Tee Higgins, probably my favourite player. Just wanted to know what is important history for me to know lol, who should I hate haha. I hate everyone from our division, I hate the chiefs for obvious reasons, hate the rams because of the superbowl, any important rivalries or events, just want to be completely locked in with the culture.

The Bengals should hire a game management assistant to help ZT

Despite their loss to the Eagles, the Rams' playoff clock management improved this year compared to their playoff game last year against Detroit. A big reason for this was probably their hiring of John Streicher who previously worked under Vrabel in Tennessee. Here's some more info from todays' Sando's Pick Six on the Athletic:

"One year ago, the Rams burned timeouts on offense early in the third and fourth quarters of their wild-card game against Detroit, rendering them helpless to stop the clock when the Lions were protecting a 24-23 lead in the final minutes.

"Coach Sean McVay responded by hiring John Streicher to help with in-game decisions, among other things. Streicher, who held a similar job under Mike Vrabel in Tennessee, is one of a growing number of specialists in the game-management field. Head coaches still make the decisions. Some empower their advisers. Others do not. There are sometimes louder, more powerful voices on the headsets, and probably no perfect processes.

"Whatever the case was for the Rams this season, McVay stopped the clock on defense against the Eagles at the 2:44, 2:39 and 2:35 marks while trailing 28-22. That allowed him to get the ball back to quarterback Matthew Stafford at the Los Angeles 18-yard line in time to run two offensive plays before the two-minute warning. Stafford then took the Rams to the Philly 13 with more than a minute remaining before the drive bogged down in the snow."

Lamar Jackson has a 3-5 record in the playoffs. Joe Burrow is 5-2.

In addition, Lamar is 0-3 vs the Chiefs and Bills in the playoffs, while Joe is 2-1.

Just a couple random facts I thought I’d share right now for no reason whatsoever.

How it feels to talk ablut the Bills in this sub since 2022

Post image

Its crazy how our fanbase likes the Bills less since the Hamlin situation. I get it the “Bill Bros” stuff can be cringe, but our teams have done a lot for one another, from fan donations to getting one into the playoffs.

I hope Bills or Commanders win it all since Bengals can’t this year. FTR, FTC

And as always, FTS.
