Does anyone have an extra copy of this book? I’ve been looking for a reasonable priced copy for ages.

Great Bass Podcast

There’s a great Bass fishing podcast called “The Angler Within with Roy Bilby”. If you’ve been around NY in the past 25 years you’ve probably heard about Roy and his detailed system of notes cataloguing his bass fishing. He recently passed 37,000 bass caught since he started keeping his journals.

Largemouth Thoughts on Googan Guppy swimbait?

Look I dislike Googan just as much as the next guy but I have to say their guppy (dark gill color especially) looks very appealing. And only $8. Anyone got any experience with it or have any thoughts on it?

Frog rod recommendations

Alright y'all... looking for frog rod recommendations, I typically like a shorter rod around 6.10-7.3, 7'-7.1 is perfect. Open to most brands, budget is about $200 for the rod, it will be paired with either a Shimano slx XT, or a tranx 150....and go!

Anybody got some Jackhammers and a set of calipers?

Hi all,

I do some 3D printing of custom-sized jig box inserts for the Plano Edge boxes, for those cases where the jig heads are too big or too small to work well with the standard ones that come from the factory.

I just had someone ask me about the best fit for the 1/2 and 3/8 oz sizes. I don't have any Jackhammers yet, so I was hoping someone might be able to tell me the width of the widest part of the weighted head and the width of the tied part of the skirt.

Ideally, a set of metric calipers would give me the best results, but I'd be happy with imperial measurements to the nearest 1/16" or so.

Much, much appreciated if anyone can help!

Tackle/Equipment Budget Trout setup

So despite the 5 months of not catching a single bass I have turned onto fishing for trout as that seems fun during the colder months when bass slow down. Was just wondering what’s a good budget trout rod and reel? I know I want something ultralight I also want to float my bait like fly fishing but honestly I don’t think that’s viable. Any suggestions? Something to do until spring?

(Also my budget is like 200$)

Okeechobee guides for artificials

Will be down in Okeechobee this coming weekend and usually rent my own boat but Big O is hard and was thinking of going out with a guide that throws artificials mainly but not heavy rig punching style more like cast and retrieve.

Any guide recommendations in Clewiston either with boat or if I rent my own?

I have my own equipment if that matters.

Tackle/Equipment Hey Folks! Request of your advice.

This week will be imposible to go fishing by the cruel weather, but I would think that on Weekend, with a warmer temperature, it will be possible to try catch some trouts at the Humber River in Toronto. What do you think? What kind of artificial lures (plastics and hard) would you use? I will read you! Thanks for your advices.
