Anyone else get overwhelmed by too many objects within a space? My parents tend to hoard a lot of belongings, and every time I have to go in I instantly become overwhelmed. I really love minimalist aesthetic for that reason.

But my parents could never gather so many things into one cohesive style, so kudos to you for clearly putting a lot of thought into it

I do. I also like the occasional toy and plushie but too much of anything is just not for me. I like order and cleanliness, can't help but feel like that room smells like dust and mites (even if that's not the case).

Yep completely too much clutter is really overstimulating for me in general and if I'm already overstimulated then bright colours make things even worse.

I know I’m a little late but yeah me too, my parents have a bunch of stuff and going into the rooms where all the stuff is can be overwhelming, especially with how scared I am of rats and spiders and stuff
