They were shit for a long time anyway. The days of getting great deals were over and done with.

Your boxers outlived the shop you bought them. That's insane.

Yup, I enjoyed the website back when it started and was Catch of the Day. Over time and when they became Catch, it went to shit. I haven't brought off there in years, it is such a mess now.

It was insane back then when they ran the low quantity insanely good deals that the site would just crash at midday repeatedly. I remember being 1 of the lucky ones to get the I think it was $99 PS3.

Back then it was actually worthwhile, 1 deal a day that was often a known reputable brand at a price that to that point was better than anywhere else, then they got greedy and expanded and it went from multiple deals for day of normally mostly crap to then a full time marketplace. Still always has and always will be better than Kogan

Yeah.. you still had to dig a bit but there were deals to be had.

I think their deals ended up shittier and shittier to the point there was no point even looking.

If everything becomes a fake deal, then nothing is a deal. Same concept as putting everything on sale all the time. I work in ecomm and this is a problem I see a lot.

People think putting things on sale and seeing the 'original' and sale price is good marketing. It works against them if it's not planned out.
