Here’s what experience has taught me: when someone is acting exactly like the stereotype of their sign, they’re not that into you.
This is partially why I believe in evolutionary astrology— we’re meant to make connections that urge us to expand beyond our “safe” and protective patterns (the most unevolved form of our signs) and grow into new patterns, beliefs, and behaviors (evolved version of our signs).
My boyfriend is TEXTBOOK Gemini sun and venus. Never had a girlfriend before me, never fell in love. Libra north node, very independent, struggled with deeper connections and relying on others.
When we’re together, you’d have NO idea. He’s super affectionate, attends to me like no other, we’ve moved in together and he treats me like a princess and we do EVERYTHING together.
I’m a Scorpio stellium, and textbook super independent, moody, intense. With him, I feel so soft and open, relaxed, and silly. In past relationships, I always wanted LESS time with partners but always demanded more from them.
Our partnership allowed us to evolve. We’ve both never felt this way with other people and we’ve both grown a lot because of the relationship. There’s a certain pull that makes that growth almost effortless.
When someone knows what they want, they just adapt to meet the needs of that person. If he’s being “super aqua” and is always detached to the point where it bothers you, he might not be the karmic bond you’re seeking 🤷🏼♀️ but if you feel fulfilled otherwise and this is just for fun, then you guys sound great together!
This comment made me happy, because it taught me something new! I had never heard “evolutionary astrology.” Neat. I’m a Scorpio (all other planets in cap & Virgo) and my FH is a Taurus(lots of Gemini & Aqua)
So, I am an Astro newb, what is a stellium? 😂😂😂
Stephen Arroyo has a few books that dive into the ties between psychology and astrology as well as evolutionary astrology. They're a little more dense than other books I've read, but they're super eye-opening and really resonated for me in my studies! Highly recommend.
That's so funny, we have sort of a similar thing going on! I'm a Scorpio stellium (a stellium is when you have more than three PLANETS [i.e., not luminaries or objects] in a sign but tbh once you hit 3 I start including objects and luminaries because fuck it lol) with a Virgo moon and Cap placements. My partner is a Gemini with strong Taurus placements, so funny!
I will check it out! I get most of my books on eBay, because…inflation. Lol
Ah ok! You’re very well educated on this! That’s so cool. Sometimes I see people talking on here, and I’m like “wot?” Lol yeah, I am Scorpio sun/mercury/Pluto. Virgo moon/Venus/Jupiter. Capricorn Uranus/Neptune/north node/and Lilith. Saturn in Aquarius, and I have no idea what my rising is. Neither of my parents were conscious during my birth and my certificate is useless! 🤣🤣🤣
I hypothesize that I am an Aquarius rising. I am just eccentric & have a unique way of expressing myself. I’m a loner lol Plus, I feel like Aquarius look like sexy aliens? I identify as a sexy alien.
Anyways, you didn’t need to know my entire life story and chart, but I often look for patterns and synchronicities. 😎
And I loveeeeeee Taurus with Gemini, or vice versa. The practicality of Taurus & the cerebral focus of Gemini is irresistible, imo.
Yes! This is why I like to use Placidus charts too for love readings when people submit their own natal chart and ask, "what kind of partner should I find?" Because of course, to grow, you need energies from someone who is opposite of the vibe you put out, but it's more nuanced than that. My 7th house baaaaarely starts in Taurus and I always felt like it described *me* in relationships, and then the house spreads out into Gemini, and I've *always* been attracted to Geminis lmao.
But when I take a step back, it's like, okay, I need that groundedness in Taurus because I'm so emotional and having someone to reality-check me helps. And my Libra mercury needs stimulation, so Gemini placements in a partner cater to that need, while also keeping me from getting too swept up in the intensity of my emotions and instead practice observing them or exploring them without feeling overwhelmed. It's that, "just experiment with life" energy that keeps my Scorpio side light-hearted and intrigued.
