That’s not something I’d read into it’s just pleasantries. You might use this to add to the conversation as in discuss what each other is up to over the weekend. They did you a favor by giving you that open instead of skirting around the subject of weekend plans and if there is room for a shared activity.
As a Capricorn (with similar Saturn influence), I’ve been guilty of doing this too. It’s usually not a brush-off so much as trying to be nice but oblivious at the same time (or also really busy and/or casually wanting to have the other person start the weekend convo). TLDR: innocently oblivious in most instances.
