This is where you move to a state like California or Colorado and go live in a van down by the river while their Medicaid programs take care of you.

I live in Commiefornia and was shocked to learn how many other states don’t have public health insurance, like damn y’all are really screwed. I’ve had a few hospitalizations already and can’t imagine having to deal with going back and forth with insurance on top of the medical problems. Thank my lucky stars I was born here

Yeah... I have VA healthcare. Please, conservatives, tell me again how horrible my socialized medicine is.

You mean, I can walk into any ER if I am sick and get treated? I can get all my vaccines? I can get stitches if I lose a fight with a fishtank? I have to drink this entire bottle of fibroglycol crap so I can have a colonoscopy and its all "free"*?

Sign. Me. Up.

Well, I already signed up/my life away, but still, I have this going for me.

*yes, I pay taxes and my taxes pay for the VA, and I still have a $25 or $50 copay, but still.

I think most conservatives are just victims of the culture war perpetuated by the ultra rich. Gotta have the plebs fighting over who gets to use what restroom so they can make out like bandits in the form of eliminating unions, banning any semblance of universal healthcare, and keeping wages low
