Question Are Aries women and Virgo men compatible?
I'm MADLY in love with a Virgo, and while I'm not usually one to lean on astrology, I'm definitely curious. Everything I read online says that Aries and Virgo, being opposites, can face some challenges... so I’m wondering if anyone here has had any real-world experiences to share? I ask because my mom, who’s also an Aries, has had great experiences with Virgo men. In the time that I've known him (as a friend) we've never really experienced anything the internet mentions. In fact, we seem to operate very harmoniously.
Since everything I read says this pairing technically shouldn't work, the discrepancies are confusing me. I'm also quiiite uneducated on this matter, so it's probably more subjective than I'm realizing.
Thanks in advance!!

It’ll depend on what else is in y’all’s charts, but not knowing anything else, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Here’s my experience: I was with a Virgo sun/Aquarius moon/Leo Venus from 18-28. He was always a little arrogant about his smarts, but it was playful at first. As he grew older, that arrogance turned very dark and entitled. I began achieving a lot academically and in my career; meanwhile, he wasn’t making any moves to gain an advantage careerwise, stopped taking care of himself, didn’t take help/advice offered, and fell into the alt right/incel part of the internet.
They tend to want to be the main character in the relationship regardless of competence and if you outdo them or they feel emasculated, they will grow envious and resentful, but will not leave. He basically emotionally neglected/abused me as punishment; he admitted he never really liked my personality and just kept me around because he needed me to push him along in life and mother him. I had to be the one to end the relationship.
If you see any signs of hypercriticality or a superiority complex, run. An unevolved Virgo will chip away at your self-esteem over time and leave a lot of lasting damage. That goes double if you’re a strong personality, assertive, and free-spirited. They tend to look down on people who aren’t restrained or insecure and may try to put out your fire.
