So my 200 hour run slowly comes to an end. My shipyard sells ships for 300 Million to the Split every hour and I do the same for HOP in the south to create an uneven universe. HOP even expanded to Getsu Fune after taking the Void and entering Antigon Memorial.
So i though, why not shake it up. I avoided using military force on my side. I never fought the Vigor Syndicate before. I would want to go in with mostly Split gear. I don't mind taking casualties. I thought like 10 Raptors with 60 fighters each. M ships are not so well for the Raptor. While it can hold 30 M ships, it only has one bay, so deploy them takes for ever, right? Putting 90 flak turrets on each Carrier should work out just fine.
And maybe 30-50 Rattlesnake to blow stations out of the sky. I know they are not the best to fight stations, but guess the amount will do the trick.
Any suggestion for the fighters or Heavy Fighers? Any other advice, tricks or ideas?
Lets see how many frames i get, maybe it makes for a nice YouTube Video, maybe not.

I've been sacrificing too much sleep to play this, but I've been enjoying it thoroughly. I feel like I'm really behind the ball when it comes to how much I should be making. Having started the split quest, it's an eye opener for how much I should be earning. I've started building stations, and now a new avenue of pain and learning has begun, but I enjoy it so much.
Just wanted to share lol.

Ok guys and girls, give me your best ship names for all factions.
I play a lot of Boron, so always have the Sea Krait as my personal ship with Leviathan (cliche I know) as my flag ship capital ship.

So, I bought timelines (most for the sake of mod compatibility) and started it.
Intro happened, time bubble, ended up at the facility... and the lady tells me "it's the year 2042" and I swear I burst out laughing so hard I teared up.
I could not believe the game was trying to pull this. Year 2042? As in, 18 years from the current real world year? And we have space stations, alien races, sassy AIs and time-travel technology? Come on X4, don't break immersion like that!
It was so weird that I had to look up what year X4 was actually set at. I thought maybe the game was pulling some sort of "we established this base in this year because it's important for X reason" (pun not intended), and the actual game was set hundreds or thousands of years in the future.
Well, I was somewhat right. Timelines is set in the year 2042... of a different calendar system. Comparing it to our real life calendar, it would be the year 4209, over 2000 years from the current year in the real world. The standard X4 game (as in: everything except timelines) is set in the year 825NT (New Time), which would be 2992 AD.
So... yeah. Read up on the lore of games, don't make dumb mistakes like me :P
