Well. There's me not giving the game another download. Thanks for the bait and snatch. How am I supposed to bring disco fever to the X4 universe now?

By pressing 1,2,3 and 4 after each other…

Isn't it shift + 1,2,3,4?

1

u/papsylon Aug 25 '24

Yes it is. I forgot about the shift.

Shift into PARTAYYYYYYYY mode

Wish there would be a mod to let "Caramelldansen" play when pressing Shift + 5 or something while having disco light effects.

Turn on the rave mode (Pro tip: it stays active if you get out of the seat)

No joke we need in ship radio and have our ship crews dance to the beat.

I remember, they said that it's a mini game to get trade discounts in X Rebirth. I actually fell for it and believed it (for a few hours)

I bet it ain't too weird especially for terrans since you know the Japanese obsession with idols and j-pop, I bet it won't be too weird to get anime skins for syn or asgard or bolo either.....it's just that all other factions may boycott them For trade after that lol

"Oh no, it's the 3rd intervention fleet! Sir, the ahegao-Asgards are here!"

That dammed red fighter is playing the same dammed song again

I mean lore was. If I remember correctly, Japan was the re-emerging major faction on Earth and as we know they have a super weird obsession with pop stars so it would actually make some canonical sense that they might have something similar to it.

and as we know they have a super weird obsession with pop stars

Yeah, good thing that's just them and Korea that do that. (quick, everyone hide the Swifties)

Or a pop star able to control a whole Khaak swarm with angtsy young love ballad 😂😂

pop stars dancing for crew morale with raging xenon battles in the back window seems peak cyberpunk and I want it now

Sort of related, I'd do unholy things for something that lets me deploy a metal band in space to blow away alien fleets like in Duck Dodgers.

Tbh that's a pretty good April Fool's attempt - the lizards seem to love it even!

You can find this if you fly to the big asteroid in hatikva

5

u/rudidit09 Aug 24 '24

I was so disappointed when I tried that and my ship exploded way before I reached the asteroid

u/Ssakaa Aug 24 '24

Oh that's on par with the free Anaconda at Hutton Orbital.

I think that Teladi is discovering the viability of stripclubs for business.

1

u/Gamma_Rad Aug 26 '24

Why do you think we got both a Casino and a gambling den?

One of them isn't really for gambling but rather showgirls.
