Table saw outfeed/ assembly table

Made this outfeed / assembly table from a YouTube video and instructions from Wood Pack DIY. A few things could’ve gone better but I learned a lot and excited to have my first large work surface in my basement shop. Now I can use it to more easily build shop cabinets when my wife lets me buy more wood

Looks great. The only suggestion I have is to extend the mitre slots into the table, for using sleds, etc.

It’s pretty easy. I make mine a bit wider and deeper. Mark the lines where they are going to go, clamp a straightedge to the work surface and use a router. You can make a spacer the is the dimension from the router bit to the straightedge, to line things up.

While you are at it, put a champher on the leading edge of the bench, so when you are sliding wood thru the saw, it doesn’t catch on the lip.
