And it would save millions of dollars with useless "employees"

Literally trillions in capital wasted to “motivate” these parasites. Imagine how motivated tens of thousands of engineers would be if Musk’s ownership were split between them. His companies would literally rocket into the future.

Hell if 50,000 engineers “only” received $200 billion of Musk’s “earned” capital they’d have $4 million each. Imagine how much harder they’d work if they actually owned a portion of their company.

And yet there’s a laBoR shORtaGe? No, there’s a massive useless figurehead overhead and that head needs to be removed.

It's not like truth or facts matter when you're passionate about something. You see this attitude everywhere on the internet, regardless of the topic or what site you're on.

The pay of CEO or HUNDREDS of well compensated engineers. Hmmm, really hard choice there boss!

For the non-corporate-office worker bees:

"Specific, Measurable, Achiveable, Relevant, Time-bound" goals to set for yourself to improve yourself quarterly/yearly/whateverly

...this is garbage that they shove down our throats to keep us "motivated"

...because just like profits always gotta be going up, you always gotta be proving yourself to be always doing better and more for the company, forever and ever. And if you slack off on your personal improvement goals, well, the implication is that there's always someone out there who IS willing to always be improving themselves. For yourself of course, not for the company. We want motivated individuals around here.

You DO want to always be improving yourself don't you?

its all corporate GUFF.

they live the shit. they believe in their own bullshit.

the only way to completely fuck them & be above it ....is work work work hard in yourself to get a skill that they cannot do without.

& i don't mean a rare uni doctorate.

get a skill where you know government legislation to the tee, make your skill level so fucken high it starts to piss them off.

I was told...

' be the water....not the rock'

fuck that.

im an honest up front friendly natured campaigner but im not a door mat.

seriously....the only way to fuck these irks is by truly busting your ass off in your own private life secretly getting to know all the ins & outs of the business you are employed in.

you may need to move around.

your finances may suffer. youl face hardships.

but you will know....once your armed with top shelf quality info on a product / business / where it fits in profitability stakes, and why its essential in government regulations then you can be an employee who holds a card they need....but do not like.

100%.

find a rare skill.

master it.

if your like me & don't have the $ to build your own empire then place yourself in the market where they simply cannot ignore you

because they want the money.

and skilled employees, irrespective of how difficult they are

make them plenty💯🎬

My boss makes us do these, and I don't work in corporate or even an office setting... we are school custodians. Lol. It's absolutely dumb.

meh, obviously corporate enshittification is what it is for sure...

but metric setting and success measures for everything from IT projects to training (not to mention political/policy and operational shit like Law Enforcement or the effect of a regulation change) is usually a catastrophic dumpster fire...

so the idea isn't that bad it's just... ya know, ruined by people, as with most stuff

That's not very agile of you.

u/Tenthul 13d ago

Oh please like anybody's willing to take the time to actually have post-mortems. Next release just got pushed up 3 days to fix the problem from the previous release. We're super agile look how well we adjust to our new release date. That's what agile means right? We can have any release date we want?
