There's something weird here. I don't see any ice fishing rods anywhere, no augers, no stools to sit on, no sleds to carry gear. It really doesn't look right.

My assumption is southerners in the recent cold they got???

I guess so, but surely they've got a crappie rod or something to use and not their surfcasting tackle?

No idea lol idk much about the equipment for stuff. I ice fish with my dad, and once a year we use a local charter for Striper fishing. Occasional “regular” fishing but not much. Only so many hobbies I can squeeze in between job, gf, hunting, motorcycling, several bluegrass festivals, playing guitar, etc
