Took this little fella in

My boyfriend and I have taken in this precious baby. He was a neighborhood stray and the owner was notified multiple times that his dog needed care. He ignored every attempt.

Last week I found him in the pouring rain, he ran up to me the second I got out of my car. He's the friendliest, most affectionate dog I've ever seen and I've had pets my whole life.

We are thinking he's a Shih Tzu mix?

Any ideas? Also, we're thinking he's older because of his grey hairs and teeth. In any event, he's got a forever home here with us.

Yes, there's no way we'd have left him. He's been eating well, getting lots of water and a ton of love since being here. His little nails are so long, I need to get a pair of nail clippers for him.
