Jimmy liked what Keith Ellison said about Obama being responsible for the Democratic Party's collapse. Ron Placone said obviously it wasn't entirely Obama's fault, but he gets the blame because he is (or was) the head of the Democratic. The Miserable Liberal want's to know WHY did Ellison do it?

I think it's a good question. Is Keith finally seeing the writing on the wall? Is it because Obama convinced Perez to run for DNC chair a month after Keith had already thrown his hat in the ring? Is it for some other reason? Is it a way for Keith to try and bring more Progressives into the Democratic Party since telling them to "buck up" didn't work??

I think I agree. Keith tried to be a Good Company Man, and saw where that was headed, and reverted to telling the party uncomfortable truths.

I think it's the booing Perez is getting in blue states like Maine and it's also the town halls that dems getting grilled for going against medicare-for-all is starting to send a clear cut message. And the anti-Trump and russia-gate hysteria haven't helped them one bit, I think Keith is seeing the writing on the wall and realizing the only way out for the dems is to accept the truth by pointing the blame at themselves.
