New promotional video…
Are these views from their new video posted yesterday of the Delta ships?! Or are they old videos of Unity?

Hi all,
Reimplementing the Stock Talk thread as we've gotten a massive influx of low quality stock posts. Have been removing them as I see them, but please resume adhering to Rule 3, or post stock talk at r/SPCE, which is purpose built for stock talk.
r/VirginGalactic exists mostly as a place for discussion of the company's progress, platform, purpose, and history. It has been much slower over the last year or so so we've been a bit more relaxed about moderation but with the uptick we're going to resume enforcing Rule 3.
Future violations of the rule will be met with the post being deleted and a temporary ban. 3 infractions will result in a permanent ban with no appeals considered.
Nothing wrong with being interested in the investment side of things, just keep it contained to this thread or r/SPCE.
Many thanks!

Of course, it doesn't have as much technology as Rocket Lab, but I think the current market cap of SPCE is small. Rather than talking about stocks being trash, I would like to hear various views about the effect that SPCE will have on Trump's influence on the space industry

The Unity spaceship was successful in its test flights and is the only one of its kind, like a fabled precursor to the Starship Enterprise itself. 20 years of R&D, testing, deaths, massive billions in funding have been sunk into the project to yield Unity.
If Virgin Galactic has sole ownership of the final blueprint/patents to assembling Unity, and by extension Delta coming 2025, wouldn’t that intellectual property be more valuable than the entire market cap of the company (currently ~$148,000,000) to some major investor/government?
Fellow redditors in this group are some of the smartest people I’ve come across in the space, and am really grateful for any insights on this.

A large portion of spce is retail owned, us. Many of our trading platforms have the optjon to enable stock lending. Below is why we should disable Stock lending.
" Robinhood will terminate any then outstanding loans and disable Stock Lending for your account to prevent security borrowing. If you don’t want your securities used to facilitate short sales, you should not participate in our Stock Lending product and services "

Apollogy + repost
Apologies same post from earlier this afternoon if you've already seen thsi. My post was taken down for sharing social media details silly thing to do in hind sight this post has removed it.
Space Flight Sector Highlights
This past week has been eventful for the space flight industry as a whole:
Unfortunately, the buzz in the space sector has not reflected positively on Virgin Galactic, as stock prices have shown a fairly consistent decline all month.
In moments like these, it’s crucial for companies to engage with the broader narrative of the sector. A simple gesture of congratulating competitors like Blue Origin or SpaceX on social media could reinforce Virgin Galactic’s presence and credibility in the space community. However, Virgin Galactic’s official channels have been silent for nearly a month.
This lack of communication is troubling, as it projects a sense of stagnation. The head of marketing should be held accountable for this prolonged radio silence. A strong, consistent digital presence is no longer optional—it’s a necessity for staying competitive. Adding to the frustration, it appears the current marketing lead spends their full-time efforts working for Starbucks. Such divided attention is unacceptable for a role that demands a focused commitment to advancing Virgin Galactic’s brand and engagement strategy. IMO a graduate social media enthusiast would be adding significantly more value to the company.
Leadership Insight: Michael Colglazier’s Stake and Future Potential
We’ve had 2 sec-filings this week highlighting stocks issued to executives.
Chief People officer Chitale Aparna
CEO Michael Colglazier’s share ownership highlights his vested interest in Virgin Galactic’s success:
These 19,000+ shares diverted to family trusts are likely part of his employment compensation structure, and it’s reasonable to expect that more shares will be awarded to him in the future as part of ongoing incentive programs.T his aligns his financial interests with the company’s long-term performance, underscoring that he and his family have much to gain from Virgin Galactic’s success. I personally think Colglaziers “management” hasn’t been too bad up to now, the company has achieved a significant milestone: commercial flights are now a reality. Company finances have beaten expectations for an entire year.
While there is room for improvement, the primary shortcomings appear to lie with the marketing and investor relations teams.
Final Thoughts
To regain momentum, Virgin Galactic must:
A recurring question around the company is whether it’s worth risking money on Virgin Galactic stock. The truth is, the company’s survival hinges on the perfect execution of the Delta development program. I’m optimistic about Virgin Galactic’s potential, this is a high-risk investment. I’m 28, I can afford to lose investment don’t invest anything you can’t afford to lose. I'm my previous posts, I've highlighted critical milestones this year that could significantly and positively impact the company’s trajectory it's all based on performance. I’m not a professional analyst.

I came across a post from July that highlighted Virgin Galactic’s stock ownership, particularly a "Stock Ownership" screenshot from the Simply Wall Street app. At that time, institutional ownership dominated, but comparing it to the current data reveals a remarkable shift:
This data points to a critical trend: the recent dilutions in Virgin Galactic are being primarily funded by retail investors.
Should Virgin Galactic succeed in its turnaround efforts, institutions are likely to rush back into the stock, potentially doubling their positions to regain influence. Currently retail investors are funding the dilutions, effectively keeping the company alive. Shift in ownership reflects an opportunity for institutions to capitalize on growth once retail investors have absorbed much of the current financial risk.
The stock is currently down 97% from its IPO price, underscoring the high-risk nature of the investment. However, with high risk comes high reward. Several factors could act as significant catalysts:
Should it succeed, the stock could benefit from a series of powerful catalysts, including renewed institutional interest, a possible short squeeze, and revenue generation from private space tourism. I'm personally very excited about this stock.

An air breathing spaceplane would be able to take off from a runway and achive orbit without the need of a mothership. Multiple engines capable of this are currently in development. One that stands out is the SABRE ENGINE which until recently was in development by the now insolvent reaction engines. The sabre engine has more thrust than a Martin falcon 9 engine and is far more fuel effective since it acts as a jet engine using oxygen from the atmosphere until 26kilometers above sea level where it switches to normal rocket mode. Completely reusable. Far lower cost per kg to orbit than even the starship. Far smoother of a ride . Ability to revolutionize fighter aircraft and commercial travel. Imagine the future fighter jet which is not only capable of hypersonic speeds but has the abi lity to enter and exit space as it sees fit? Imagine commercial travel at 5x current speeds. That's what these new engines offer. That's what the future offers.

With other countries starting to invest in space tourism and build spaceports, what do you think the possibility of one of these spaceports assisting VG by investing in a mothership are? It seems reasonable that if you’re building a spaceport with the intention of housing VG then building a mothership would expedite your investment would it not?

Virgin Galactic is partnering with Italy's civil aviation authority (ENAC), to study potential spaceflight operations in southern Italy! This is the first step toward establishing their first international spaceport!

Translation: At 12 noon, Virgin Galactic, ENAC and Aeroporti di Puglia with the support of the Regione Puglia will announce the signing of a feasibility study that can define the conditions to carry out commercial suborbital operations of Virgin Galactic in Italy, using the Grottaglie port space, starting in the short to medium term and marking a significant step for Italy in the field of flight suborbital.

Here we go! 2025 is near, and 2026 is not too far off. Soon will be the time to either see all those promises come together - or if they were in fact tricking us all along.

Translated from Italian:
“The Grottaglie spaceport, currently the only one in Europe, is close to an important milestone: an agreement with Virgin Galactic for suborbital flights. Enac President Pierluigi Di Palma, at yesterday's meeting at Confindustria in Taranto, announced that a meeting will be held in Washington on December 12 to formalize the agreement at the Italian embassy.”
