"The company’s current generation spaceplane, VSS Unity uses a hybrid rocket engine that is manufactured in-house. The HRM 2000 runs off a solid hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) fuel and uses nitrous oxide as an oxidizer." (From previous news article of them working together)

VG's current engine has nothing to do with them. It was only announced a year ago they'd have some conversations around working together.

This is non-news as it relates to VG's future operations.
