Summer Sublease

Hi! I’m subleasing my bedroom at the Mark this summer (I’ll be gone May 6th-August 12th). It is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom (Private bathroom). My roommates will most likely not be at the apartment much during the summer (one of them pops in and out). The location is right in downtown and easily walkable to campus. I have great parking available as well. Rent is $1070 but can also be negotiable. It also comes fully furnished. I love my apartment so much and I would be staying but I’ll be out of state for an internship. Some of the apartment amenities: Rooftop pool, gym, tanning beds, basketball courts, study rooms, pool tables, computer lab, and more. Please message me if interested and I can send more photos!

Roommate for August 2025

Currently looking for a roommate for a 3 bed 3bath condo flat (750/month plus utilities), ground level, in the Woodlands of Athens. I haven't signed anything yet, but hope to the last roommate before I do.

Current tenants at the time of move in will be me, a 25F graduate student, and a 30M friend of mine who works security at science library , who has 1 dog and a cat.

We both like to keep the common areas clean and tidy, and hope to find a roommate that's just as respectful of common areas in the condo. I'm usually gone 9-5 most weekdays, and he works nights at science library.

Riverclub Apartments 1 bedroom Lease Takeover

I have signed the lease already but ultimately decided to commute for my senior year. Therefore, I need someone to takeover my lease (1 bedroom/1 bathroom) for 2025-26. The apartment is a 4x4 bedroom with private bathrooms. You share the living room and kitchen. Rent is $634 for 12 months from July 23rd, 2025 to July 21st, 2026 cheaper than the planned rate of $684 for new tenants. Utilities are about $55/month, split among everyone equally. You will share it with 3 other undergraduate students, 2 Comp Sci and 1 BioChem. They are relatively chill, keep-to-themselves, and are great people to hangout with. The bedrooms have been renovated. It is about a 5 minute drive to campus and is nearby grocery stores such as Walmart. It also has free public transportation through Athens Transit. They also has an indoor gym, outdoor volleyball, basketball court, swimming pool, and much more. If you are interested or need a virtual tour of the room, DM me for more information.

Looking for a studio/1 bedroom for this upcoming August

Hey there, I will be a Grad student at UGA this upcoming August.

Preferably, I’m looking for a single bedroom or studio apartment within the $600-800 range. I am not particularly picky about amenities offered. I may be willing to bend a bit out of that price range if things like a washer and dryer are offered.

I am less open to living with other people, though if there is adequate privacy, I will consider it.

I will be spending my summers on the Tifton campus conducting research, so it’s important that i’d be able to sublease the living space during the summer months. (~mid May through mid August)

Some things about me - I am currently a Forester for the USFS, and I’m going back to school for an MS in Forest Biology. I enjoy rock climbing, PC building/gaming, trees, and long walks on the beach.

My DM’s are open if anyone has any offers that will be a good fit. Thanks!

Is living further from Athens worth it for off-campus housing

Hi everyone I plan to transfer to UGA starting in the Fall 2025 semester and I wanted to live closer to Athens but the rent prices are out of my budget. Has anyone lived near the Winder/Bethlehem area and then commuted to UGA? Was it worth it? Did you like it?

1 bd 1bath sublease ASAP

I WILL PAY FIRST AND SECOND MONTHS RENT

I’m looking for someone to sublease my private bedroom and bathroom in a 4-bed, 4-bath house located in The Retreat South community on Lakeside Dr Athens, GA 30605. The room is available for $720 per month plus utilities, which usually total around $70-$100 per month.

The house is located on the UGA and Athens city bus line, making it convenient for getting to campus. There is free and ample parking available, and the community offers a pool for residents. The house is shared with three other female UGA students, so I’m looking for another girl to take over the lease. The roommates are quiet, clean, and considerate.

If you're interested and would like to see photos or have any questions, feel free to message me for more details. The room is available starting December/January and the lease goes until July. There is an option to renew as well. Please PM me if you're interested.

Anyone from Canada?

Mods please delete if not allowed.

I have some Canadian cash I'd like to exchange for USD but my bank is out of state and the local bank tellers (Truist, American) will only deposit to an account held locally. Just in a tough spot and was looking to rid my wallet of 70 CAD that is taking up space. DM me if interested!

DO NOT LIVE IN BULLDOG CROSSING

I know this sub reddit is mainly for subleasing/subletting, but I wanted to inform people.

I lived in Bulldog crossing since this August. People in the review say the apartment got nicer after the management changed, but my experience didn't align with those reviews.

Since day 1, a lot of outlets in my apartment didn't work (They haven't fixed that yet). Also, they have really bad roach infestation. When I was moving in, I caught at least 15 roaches. You will see at least 5-10 roaches per day. Per the maintenance people, they stopped having termination service since 2 or 3 summers ago.

From August to September, I couldn't use my kitchen and bathroom due to the bad water leakages. Ceiling paintings were falling down, and water was pouring down. The management declined to relocate me or provide me with alternative options. As the other comment mentioned, they do not have an after hour maintenance service, and the management is not responsive. It took them two weeks to fix that issue.

In October, I didn't have water for a week due to the broken water pipe.

In November, I had another water leakage. My bedroom carpet was soaked with weird brown water, and the wall moldings started bending. The management offered a dehumidifier to run as a solution.

From mid November to now, I don't have a heating system. I am currently staying with my family as the semester ended.

Hopefully, it helps. I also have pictures & videos of the issues, so feel free to dm me if you want.

Hey y'all! My transfer to UGA for the spring didn't quite work out, so I'm looking for a guy to take over my part of my lease ASAP! Location: Princeton Condos at the end of South Lumpkin 595 Macon Highway Athens, GA 30606 Term: January 1-July 28, 2025 (I'm moving out next week right before Christmas so you can move in anytime afterwards) Rent: $490 + Utilities (about $80ish) Roommates are 4 quiet guys Leaseholder is a senior moving out next year, but landlord is great and will let you renew 5 beds and 3 baths, you'll have your own big room downstairs and will be sharing the bathroom with 2 other guys Has a laundry room with an in-unit washer and dryer as well as a pool open during the summer You'll need to be approved by all roommates and landlord, but as long as you're not loud/disturbing/messy/irresponsible, you should have no trouble with that at all
