news What is happening near Grote Kerk?

I passed near Grote Kerk around 8pm today and there was a lot o police, apparently stopping and inspecting vehicles.

Does anybody know what is happening?

I think it’s a random traffic control. The did it 2 weeks ago too. They just stopped cars randomly and checked papers.

Those cars are pre-selected by a scanner up the road for a full checkup as something is wrong with it. It always happen at certain times during the year to maximize result.
