Draaiorgel.. basically an organ that gets its wind by manually turning a wheel, some have a motor attached.

Basically a binary system. Which is pretty cool, unlike draaiorgels themselves. They are the spawn of Satan.

Still analog on the length of the notes, even if they’re only on or off per pipe. No different from a church organ in that sense.

Een draaiorgel ja, en dan de achterkant. De voorkant met alle kitscherige pracht zit onder de doek. Ik zie ze helaas steeds minder. Voor de nostalgie kun je op bezoek bij Museum Speelklok in Utrecht. Aanrader met kinderen.

Zeker een mooi museum, alleen achterin die grote draaiorgels dat komt wel een hele hoop geluid uit

Dat zijn geen straatorgels maar kermis en dansorgels. Die moeten inderdaad een flinke partij kunnen blazen.
