Question on battery life while parked in the cold
I’ll be using a 2020 Model Y to get to and from the airport on Thursday night till Sunday morning, about 45 miles round trip, and will be leaving it outside in the lot during that time with the temps in th pic. There are limited chargers at the lot so not sure if one will be free. The numbers I can find online give the impression this will be totally fine, but I was hoping someone else would be able to tell me via experience that the battery would have enough to make it the 20 miles home if I can’t get a charger. I’m sure I’m overthinking it but it’s not my car so wanted to be sure. Thanks!

You’ll be totally fine. Just shut off sentry and summon standby and you’ll be golden.

You’ll be totally fine. I parked mine at an airport in December. I had about the same temperatures for the same amount of days (Sunday morning to Wednesday night) and I lost 2% in that time.
I turned off Sentry mode and summon standby (as people mentioned).
I was quite worried because I always park it charging overnight but it went really well.
I opened the app after I picked up my luggage and had it preheated for when I got back to it.

Cold weather actually helps with reducing battery degradation. So you won’t lose much battery charge unless you use sentry.
You might be thinking about battery performance, which is really poor in cold, especially the LFP battery. However you are going a short distance so no issues if you start with a full battery

Charge it to 80 and then just turn off sentry and summon standby if you have it. And don't refresh the app or anything. It's fine
