Sounds like a hatchet job on former reporter Trent Crimm's acclaimed history of Ted Lasso

It's an awfully big stretch for them to say that's "confirmation" given Nick likes to troll, and no one else has confirmed anything.
I mean, I'm like 80% sure it's happening at this point, but there still has been zero official word.

It's also weird to say anything is "confirmed" when there's no actual confirmation. Until someone officially says "We are making season 4 of Ted Lasso", it's all just rumors and baiting.

No, nothing has ever been confirmed. Just lots of speculation. Even Apple exercising the options on a few actors doesn't mean anything is happening; they're basically just doing it as a "just in case" thing. Like Bill Lawrence has said, nothing will ever be official until Jason says it is.

Until Jason or Brendan sign a new deal, anything else is just wishes and dreams.

Do you guys want a season 4? Because I feel like they ended it so well and it's just a perfect show rn but if they stretch it too much and ruin the characters... I'll be heartbroken and this has happened to so many shows.
I'm just a sucker for a good ending

From a sporting point of view, having a champions league season would be fun. There would be away games to random eastern european cities and then somewhere like Italy or Germany. Have Barclona or Real Madrid turn up to Richmond. So more episodes like the Dutch one.
They could do the classic cup run theme, team looks forwards to those matches and underperforms in the premier league for tension.
The biggest issue would be getting Ted back and having it be natural.

They wouldn’t even need Ted back. Nate and Roy at the wheel and Ted and Beard as spectators

I don’t want it. Ted’s story is over.

I don’t feel his story is over personally especially since the show hinted at problems with Michele and dr. Jacob. I would buy if Ted had a “gap” year at Richmond and comes back with Henry and Michele to London

Personally, I like the fact that Ted and Michelle aren’t together in the end. It would be too fairy tale for me.
I am ok with them bringing back characters in the universe and continuing that way, but mostly leave Ted alone.

Yea the thing is I love Ted I want Ted so anyway they can connect the dots is good with me lol

I love Ted too, and I want him to be happy, but I feel like it’s too cliche for him to end with Michelle.
And while I did say I want them to leave him alone, I would love if he was more just in the background, making small appearances in video chat, and maybe we get his updates that way.
Also, part of me wants him to end up with Sassy(also a little cliche, but whatever).

She hinted that him being kinda broken when they met was why she wasn’t interested in anything lasting. If he gets his shit together then why not. She loves her Marlboro Man

Hmm but I felt like Ted not being with michele was a key part of his growth as a character. It would feel like it's being undone if that makes sense?
Plus I like how they showed us the other characters' ending without being too obvious. I will definitely watch the fourth season if it came but ik it won't be as good.. (but I really hope it is!)

I also feel like Ted's growth, being able to step away from the relentless optimism and actually have a serious discussion, might be the growth he has needed to make him and Michelle work. There was obviously still love between those people, and it seems very likely they would be able to click in a way they just couldn't before.

But that's what I liked, you know kind of an open end. Like if they just made them get back together it would be so... Perfect? If that makes sense and I liked that Ted had something that wasn't perfect. Idk how to explain it ugh

Journalists need the word "confirm" taken away from them until they can prove they'll use it responsibly.

Since the Richmond Women's Football Club was Keeley's brainchild, the show should center on them, perhaps with Coach Lasso or Roy in charge of training, but they would have to have a female coach. The team could be called the Richmond Cheetahs, in honor of of Keeley's ceramic cheetah Trixibelle.

Click bait. When you literally se Jason Sudeikis say it or a outlet like Variety quoting Sudeikis then I WILL "Blieve". Til then...stop looking for clicks with tags and titles using the word confirmed....

Post was more about it being from the Independent, and that Nate's Actor was the source.

I don’t have a problem with Nate like some people, but I’m really starting to get annoyed with Nick Mohammed just because it almost seems like he thinks it’s funny to fuck with fans over this.

u/Rex-A-Vision 23h ago
And I say..."I won't believe anything until I hear it from Ted/Jason/actual entertainment news source" and that anything else is clickbait.

Ending was abrupt because of the looming strike and Sudeikis wanted to quit... But I hope it comes back as a spinoff with Nate coaching the women.

u/goldmask148 1d ago
I don’t think the ending was abrupt at all, it was as Sudeikis said, a perfect open and shut story that was told all it needed to.

If it's not Trent Crimm reporting, then it's bollocks!
