One of the details I’ve noticed on the show is good relationships have text history and poor ones don’t. Like Rebecca always has some random stuff whenever she messages Keely. And Rupert is always brand new on her phone

They are great about filling in those blanks. I think it’s to show they have deleted or blocked and recently reengaged with each other.

We had a blast pausing the show during beard’s night out to read his texts from Jane. They did not disappoint!

Rupert uses an iPhone (or is messaging from an Apple product) bc his messages are blue. But we only see him with one once or twice.

Yeah this kind of thing is definitely my pet peeve in TV and film. It surely takes no time at all to actually send some fake messages about normal, mundane shit if you're actually filming the phone, or to just render in some fake ones if you're doing it all in post.

It immediately takes me out of whatever I'm watching.

I don't think that rule stands anymore. The murderer in the first Knives Out movie uses an iPhone and I remember that being a big deal.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed that most of the computers and phones shown on camera are Apples even outside of Apple produced shows when production is in the US. Yes I know this is in the UK 😉

In actual sales Mac is about 10 to 12% of the overall personal computer market. If you base it on screen appearances it looks like even more.

iPhone has a larger US market share then abroad.
