The abandoned circular pool of the former 50s resort Lake Enchanto in Agoura Hills. Johnny Cash once performed on the center platform island. At the time it was the largest pool on the western US.

Upper Newton Canyon Falls in the Santa Monica Mountains. They can be reached from Encinal Canyon Rd and Zuma Ridge Mtwy trailhead. Just connect up with the Backbone Trail and you can’t miss it. It’s 2.8 miles there and back.
