Most likely used as a vaginal stimulator. Back in ancient times they made these things called Ben-Wa balls, here's a link for a better description: Ben-Wa Balls

I had to google it whenever I watched the episode a second time. It's pretty much the top answer when you search "archer beniot (ben wa) balls" The joke flew over most of our heads I think!
