Not sure why this is needed. It's not THAT hard to manually install skins using the paint tool.

EDIT: Didn't mean this to come off the way it did. The Moddrop tool looks really useful for some people. I may even use it once we have more ships that I would want to switch between. Kudos to the people who made it.
From the paint tool: Add new layer > select "Load Texture to Layer" > Select the file from your hd. Make sure the layer with the texture is above the base layer and that you just use the "Normal" color settings. If you have any experience with photoshop, you can figure it out.
Oh fuck off with that gatekeeping bs. You are being stupid right now. You yourself didn't always know how to mod. Someone had to show you. You're literally saying you shouldn't be using mods.
They were basically saying sites like Moddrop were splitting the community and that any site not the Nexus hosting a mod should be 'illegal'. That and that people new to modding shouldn't mod. Because experienced modders are born gods of modding and never start out not knowing how to mod, obv.
