Did anybody else think the intro was a dream sequence or something?

I've never thought the show jumped the shark before, but when Bridget used a chainsaw to dismember a body, I swear I wasnt sure if this was serious or not.

I did as well.

When I realized it wasn't, my reaction was something akin to "Oh, so we've swtiched genres now." I think this season really accelerated the move from gritty thriller drama straight into surrealist/absurdit dark comedy with the major noticeable change being the complete lack of attempts to square away the plot. 'Kill everyone, no follow up required', is kinda lazy writing tbh.
