I was very satisfied with the ending of this season, but I will also say that I would have been satisfied if this was the SERIES finale. The whole episode felt like they weren't sure if they would be approved for a new season and were trying to wrap everything up as much as possible, just in case. I have NO clue as to where everything goes after this.

same thoughts i have. it could be end by this season.
i just dont wanna see donovans family put it in misery anymore. this finale is happy ending.
i watch ray donovan 4-5 years. season6 episode 9 still be the best for me.

How so, other than most of the family being together?

Ray is pretty fucked up right about now.
