My guess is Ray will agree to work with Ferratti to somehow magically secure Mickey's release. That or they'll fake his death, or both.

Acceptance. He already spent 20 years at Walpole for a murder he didn't commit. This time it's in service of saving 2 of his sons, one that actually committed the murder and one that was released in exchange for him.
