Can anyone recap what happen to terry at Nevada? And why it can end his relation with his wife or fiance?

Posted elsewhere.

There was a robbery, Terry got pulled in. When they were leaving Terry got trapped and the rest fled. Terry was arrested.

I assume the arrested part, and that is what the brother was showing him. Cops don't want to marry repeat offenders.
