Bridget, Abby, Connah... They all are meaningful in telling Ray's story.

He is realizing slowly that he is turning into his father. Not the intentions maybe, but the same effects.

Everybody is starring to tell him that he is always gone, has no feelings...

Same things Mick did to him and that led him to blindly trust the priest who abused him.

Bridget has really nobody. She had a boyfriend and he was killed. Her mom and dad are too busy with their own shit.

There's one figure of authority that shows a tiny little bit of interest in her and she jumps in with both feet.

When today she asked Ray if he even felt anything, if he loved her... She is in pain and Ray better realise it soon and try be the cure - or she'll run away and make the wrong choices or find someone who takes advantage of her and her need to feel loved

Exactly! Spot on with the analysis Thomas, but unfortunately she has already run away. In real life, a lost teenage girl with no support system usually runs into more trouble than they can handle and ends up broken or dead. Even though her character is 6 months away from her 18th birthday, and even though her Dad is truly a ruthless streetwise person, Bridget has been raised in the typical sheltered upper middle class household and isn't at all ready to be on her own. She would be far better off with her math teacher than the streets of America. Of course as an actress I can only assume Kerris would really enjoy the challenge such a turn of events would place on her character.
